Activities
There are lots of activities and events you can run around Booked Up!
- Run a Booked Up Blurb competition: Invite readers to submit alternative blurbs for the Booked Up titles, providing them with a word limit. It could be 100 words long – or five!
- Organise a Booked Up awards ceremony: Invite young people to vote for their favourite books in different categories and arrange an awards party to announce the most popular titles.
- Choose a book of the day/week and display it on the issue desk. If a borrower takes the book out, replace it with another!
- Encourage readers to photograph themselves or each other reading a Booked Up book in an unusual spot – and put the best photos on the display board.
