i really liked the book and it made me get tensed because i didn't know how he was going to defeat the dinosaur and after i read it i got shocked of when he had to team up with the dinosaur to defeat someone else.

Z.Rex is a terrific book because it has lots of action in it and it makes you want to carry on reading because of the fantastic things that happen during the story

This is a fantastic book!!! scary and hooking at the same time. this book is all about a computer freak and his dad is a cybe genius, then the video game comes to life! Awesome book, fantastic.

The story was great a very exiting and adventurous book and i got really nervous at the bit where he first went into the game and the door wouldnt open i thought he was going to die!!!! but yes a very good book i loved the whole thing it kept me glued the whole way through!!!

I really like this book because as a kid I have always loved dinosaurs but i wouldn't like them as much any more I wouldn't give it a five star because the dinosauor could talk and I never really did like talking animals.

The book is good! It involves a boy called Adam and his Dad is the creater of ultra reality video games. He gets trapped inside the game but is it reality? An intense and amazing story, everyone should read it!

This is an amazing book with non stop action. It is about a 13 year old boy called Adam and his dad, who creates computer games. His dad goes away and meanwhile Adam's being chased by a T-rex. The T-rex decides not to eat adam but keep him with him. Adam and zed (the dinosaur) go on a massive adventure halfway round the world. But are they really friends?

It's about a boy named Adam whose dad goes missing and he goes looking for him. then he enters his dad's lab and finds a Z.Rex as big as an elephant.

The book I read was really good and I loved it. Picking the book was a great honour and i don't know what to say except that it is really really good.

this book was one of the only books which used many techologies and gaming stuff and was very fascinating especially the beginning caught my attention when the boy sounded as if he was in the 3-d game land. so basically one of the most amazing books that i have ever read by steve cole.

Z-Rex was very good, and I really enjoyed. It was a real adventure, and a bit creepy, but the scary bits just made it better. If you ask me, it had good characters, a creepy plot and a huge talking dinosaur, which equals, GREAT!!

Z-Rex is about a boy called Adam and his dad makes games for ultra reality - a game-station that when you put the goggles on you control the game. It is just like reality. But then it turns into reality, as his dad is gone to Fort Ponil and men come to Adam's house firing guns randomly around. Then a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex shadow is chasing Adam. These men want him dead, the Dinosaur and Adam have to work together to defeat them. He has to find his dad. The best adventure/action story you will ever find xD

Z Rex is about a 13 year old boy called Adam whose dad works making games. His latest creation is ultra reality. Adam's dad has to go to fort ponil where he was ordered to shock a giant dinosaur named Zed Rex and people think it's Adam's fault and try to kill him so him and the monster have to work together.

this book is for people that like books with adventure.

At the beginning of the book i couldn't really get into it because i was given too much infomation at once, (couldn't find a picture in my mind) but my English teacher persuaded me to keep reading it. To see if it got any better, and lucky it did! Now i am about halfway through the book and when i read in bed i can't put it down because it's so exciting. I usually don't like reading but, this so far is my favourite book i've read! I would recommend this book to about age 10 - 11 readers. When i don't understand what's going on in the book, i don't like reading it and are quite upset. I now am getting used to the style of the writing and are enjoying the book a whole lot more. I personally think the description is excellent and how the author decribes the scene. This is a great book but you have to be persuaded to read on because the beginning is slightly hard to get into. This is a really good book, if you like Steve Cole's books you will love this one. When you see the front cover you would get reading straight away, once you get the book i have finished the book and i keep reading it again and again. i just really love this book so much i rate it a 5 star and i'm on page 50. i read this book every day, i have read it like 10 times already. i hope you choose this book - you will get addicted to it.

Z-rex is a thrilling, action-packed novel which is exciting to read. It keeps you hooked with unbelievable twists and turns. While the story unfolds ,things happen that you wouldn't expect but nonetheless, it is all important. Keep reading and you will soon notice you are constantly on your toes. A terrific story that has everything you want.

good and very interesting

The book has gory action and science fiction. It is a great book for about 9 year olds to 14 year olds. It has things that teenagers can relate to such as Nokias and X boxs and so on. Steve Cole has written some good books but this is probably one of his best. The book has got a really good story to it as it has sciency bits that explain how the creature was created and stuff like that.

Z rex is a very good book if you like action, adventure, and fun. I would recommend this book for ages of 10 and over because it is a bit violent at some parts of the book and kids under 10 might find it scary. I would recommend it for ages 10 and over because it does help a bit with learning because it has some information about dinosaurs and the book also includes words like Xbox, Nokia and Iron Man which are more teenage things. the book also includes characters like evil scientists and obviously a T rex and the main character Adam is a teenager. The book is basically about a boy called Adam who is on the run from a massive T rex who wants to kill Adam. But then there are some evil scientists who want them both dead and the only way to escape them is if Adam and the T rex work together.

When our English teacher gave us the leaflet with the list of books, and said that we could get any 1 of them for free I got excited (since reading's a hobby of mine). I was gonna get this 1 (Z.Rex) but I changed my mind 'cos I thought that 'The Joshua Files: Invisible City' looked more interesting. I've only read a few pgs. of it & it's already boring. That's why I regret not getting this 1.
