I found this book boring, but little kids might like it. It was about a boy called Nate who thinks he's destined for greatness burt ends up in trouble all the time. I think this book kind of copied Diary of A Wimpy Kid but ended up failing. :-(

I think this book is more for younger ones as it doesn't have much to it. Me and my little brother read it two years ago when I was ten and he was eight I think it doesn't really appeal to 8+.You would expect it to be like the wimpy kid books but it isn't as good as those.

Big Nate was a really good book. It gave a great insight into the life of a daring American school boy. With the book being wrote in the first person it showed Nate's feelings about school and his social life. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney, vice versa. The text layout and personality of the book made me think that I would recommend it to anyone under 12 years old as people older than 12 might not get the full humour due to the age and personality of Nate. I have gone on to read the rest of the series and am enjoying them as much as the one I got from Booked Up.

Its about a boy called Nate and hes just telling us about his day at school. He also tells about what he likes and hates about school. I Liked that it was a diary because he told his feelings. It was also funny and it was nicer to read a happy book. I didn't like it when it finshed because it was that good. The only thing I would make better is the blurb because I think it needs a bit more of a mystery to make you read it.

Big Nate belives he is destined for greatness so why is he having such a bad day. Nate attends P.S 38 and is always getting into troble. Befor Nate's first class he remembers he didn't bring his lunch and so his friend gives him a fortune cookie that says today you will surpass all others. then Nate gets a detention in every lesson and at lunch . Nate becomes the first person at P.S 38 to get 7 detentions in one day.

Recently I have read 'Big Nate the boy wirth the biggest head in the world' I really liked this book. I would recommend this book to 9-12 year olds. The character Nate is really funny and doesn't like to learn. I would really relate to this character and I bet some of you's will too! I would love to read the next two! :)

But, insted of feeling sorry for him, you just laugh away. I am a Wimpy Kid fan that is why I chose this absolutely fantastic book. I seriously recomend this book for those who want a good laugh!

hi, I think that Big Nate is a good and funny. Big Nate is about a boy who is in a school for probably 3/4 of the time. He hangs around with his friend Francis in school. He has a younger brother and a older brother. I would probably recemend for people aged 8-12 years old.!!! :)
