    Booked Up is back!

Booked Up is back for 2010 and over the past few months we've been working hard to make sure it's better than ever!

    So what's new?

    Website

Hopefully you’ve noticed that the website now has a brand new look, as well as lots of new information and content. We really hope that you and your students will like the new website and find it easier to locate all the information you need.

    New bookmark!

When you open your purple box, you may notice that this year the bookmarks have arrived in September. This is because we have changed the bookmark so your Year 7s can now use it as an order form.

Hand one out to each pupil, ask them to write their name and form on the front, tick the book they would like, and hand them back to you. You can use these to collate the orders, and when the order arrives simply pop the bookmark into the corresponding book, and you can easily hand out the right book to each child.

    Bigger, better magazine!

We’ve expanded the Year 7 magazine to a gigantic 24 pages, packed full of information about the Booked Up books. This year all 19 books feature in the magazine so every child will get the same Booked Up experience. The ‘core’ 13 books that all schools receive are featured first; followed by the six accessible texts that were selected for children with additional educational needs. Every child can choose from the full range of 19 titles.

    Extended DVD!

The Booked Up DVD now has an option to watch either just the 13 ‘core’ titles, or watch all 19 titles. When you put the DVD on you can choose the option that is right for your class, including options to watch the film with signing or subtitles. Don’t forget, you can also watch the DVD here on the website.
